Guiding Principles

1. We recognize that there are uncertainties in the research findings to date about endocrine disrupting substances, and in the assessments of risks associated with them;

We believe that deeper understanding and assessment of those risks can best be achieved through further scientific studies that are peer-reviewed and published, and we certify that all research results referred to on this site have been peer-reviewed and published in recognized academic journals, except where explicitly noted; (See also section on "Framework for assessing weight of evidence")
   
   
3. We support the open and vigorous discussion of public policy options that are intended to control the risks associated with endocrine disrupting substances at a level that is acceptable to the Canadian public and citizens of other countries.
